A Palm-Strike Test in a Vancouver Living Room: Is Tai Chi Real?
Plenty of people wonder about Tai Chi. It looks slow and gentle. Is there anything real inside it?
This 26-second clip was filmed in a living room in Vancouver. On the left is Master Wang Zuyao; on the right, a visiting guest. They face each other, raise an open palm, and take turns striking palm to palm. No props, no routine. Just hand meeting hand.
Strike after strike, both of them are still standing. At the end, they both laugh.
Whether Tai Chi is real isn't settled by argument. The body answers.
